What’s there to do in Misibis Bay?

I’ve given you a taste of the “luxury playground” that is Misibis Bay in my previous post and I told you that’s not all there is to it. So aside from lounging around and swimming in the pools, what is there to do in Misibis?

The Beach

I realize just now that I didn’t post any photo of the beach yet so let’s start with that. It’s nothing extraordinary, really. If you’re looking for perfectly fine sand, I’d rather you go to Palawan or Boracay. I’m not saying it’s not good though. See for yourself:

It’s very clean though, I bet they do some maintenance stuff every morning. See the manongs here:

So what makes their beach different? It’s actually…

The Water Activities

You can do a bunch of water sports there. All non-motorized activities are already part of the package — even the promo we got. Among others, there’s Hobie Cat sailing.

Forgot what this is called, but you sorta cycle it — very tiring.

My favorite, windsurfing.

For 3 days, it’s hard to be able to do all that actually comes with the package: snorkeling, kayaking, etc. Motorized activities need to be paid for but if you’re interested, you can go ride the jet ski, go parasailing and such. Usually that costs P2,440 for I think 30 minutes.

Outside of the Water

Now if you don’t want to get wet, you can rent an ATV or this cool Segway:

You can also rent board games or video games (they’ve got a Wii, PS3 and Xbox with Kinect). For the kids, there’s an indoor and outdoor playground — this place is very child-friendly.

Cagraray Eco-Park

Make sure to book yourselves to a short trip to the eco-park. They’re currently building a zipline facility there. Little kids can take the beginner route. Here’s me before ziplinin’:

On your way back from the park, pass by this interesting wedding chapel (for photo op’s sake):

And the amphitheater. You can rent this area on special occasions. They said this looks nice lit up with candles for dinner.

3 days and 2 nights for all of these? Certainly not enough. Wish I could have stayed for a week or so — and I’ll make sure to allot one whole day for sunbathing and bumming.
