It was August, but we were fortunate enough that the weather was all fine and sunny when we went to Eskaya Beach Resort in Bohol. Maybe the sky thinks we’ve been good and we deserve some sunshine and that’s what we got.
The beach was just a few minutes walk from the villas. And from this view alone, you could already take a peek of its beauty. I know I overuse the word ‘beauty’ in my writing, but sometimes you don’t want to put too much flowery words when all you mean is that it’s beautiful.
I’m a fan of pretty trees too, and once in a while I see one that I really like.
During this time of the year, the beach is a bit weedy, and you can see it from afar. The waves are also a bit strong.
The beach is still pretty, the sand is fair, and the waters are green and blue – these are good colors, but it’s just not the right time of year, in my opinion.
They clean the shore up, so it looks neater, but nature is nature is nature.
Here’s a closer look at the waves at this time of year.
As mentioned, the sand is white, but it isn’t as fine.
Almost anywhere around Eskaya, there’s a pretty view of the sea.
So it’s really nice and peaceful to walk around.
And take photos.
It helps that it isn’t full of tourists too. Almost feels like it’s all yours.
Yeah.
From the beach area, there’s this hanging bridge which leads you to the infinity pool.
In Eskaya, even the bridge is pretty.
And hey, here’s a little creature I found by the pool shower.
Overall, Eskaya Beach Resort is the type of place you’d want to go to if you just want to hang around in the resort all day. You could bask under the sun at the beach, hang around at the infinity pool, or relax in your own private pool or jacuzzi. You wouldn’t want to go anywhere else, actually.
