Hanoi Food Trip #1: Quan An Ngon

I was supposed to entitle this post “Travel Diet Tip #1: Don’t go to Vietnam”. Because I think I gained a few pounds on my way back to the Philippines. And to think that I was there for only three days! Our first lunch in Hanoi was in Quan An Ngon.

The Colorful Thien Cung Cave – Hanoi, Vietnam

The Ha Long Bay Cruise must have been one of my favorite parts of our Hanoi trip. As part of the tour, we stopped over at Thien Cung Cave (translated as “The Cave of Heavenly Palace”).

Cruising at Ha Long Bay – Hanoi, Vietnam

The Ha Long Bay Cruise was part of the Groupon package we bought for the Vietnam trip. We took the one-day cruise, although there’s an option to have it overnight. It’s just enough to actually experience the place and take photos of the beautiful scenery.

I was fascinated with this fact when I went to Vietnam a couple of weeks back, and so here is an experimental collection of photos showing these […]

Tales from Singapore Teksi Drivers

I’m back. Well, not really back-back, but back somehow. I didn’t know I’ve been away that long. From this blog. From everything in this country. I was out for a bit – went to Singapore for one week (the photo above is taken at a bar with two of my friends who live in SG […]

Bali, Indonesia: Temples Galore

BALI, INDONESIA – Bali is called “The Island of a Thousand Temples” for a reason. Everywhere you go, every corner you take, you’ll see a Hindu temple or shrine. It is said that there’s one in almost every home.
