Hoan Kiem Lake or “Lake of the Restored Sword” is probably the most scenic spot in Hanoi (that I know of). When we went there, it was – no kidding – literally filled with people. Not in an I-can’t-breathe kind of way, but in a this-is-just-such-a-nice-place-to-stay kind. Despite such, it is still clean and picturesque.

Temples again? Well, yeah. In almost every country we go to, it is almost a must to see a temple or church or two. Religion is a very huge part of culture. I am not religious, mind you, but I find that getting a feel of a people’s religion is essential to understanding who they are. […]
Previously, I shared a post on the villa we stayed in at Eskaya Beach Resort in Bohol. The resort is really not huge at all. As mentioned before, it consists of only fifteen villas, a majority of which are made for two. Of course, this kind of privacy and serenity is something that you’d need […]
Escape and luxury: these are the two most fitting words to describe Eskaya Beach Resort in Panglao Island, Bohol. This is exactly the type of resort you thought you’d only ever see in magazines.
For your viewing pleasure, I would like to share with you some of my favorite photos of the “casas” or houses found in Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bataan. These were taken mostly during the guided tour which we scheduled in the afternoon of our first day there. It was terribly hot and humid, but I […]
The interesting thing about Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bataan is that it’s not just another photogenic historical place you could tour around in; it is actually a resort.
Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar, Bataan – I tried googling the translation of this, and all that appears is “Filipino households acuzar”, which in my opinion doesn’t make any sense at all. My guess is that it means something like “The Filipino Houses of Acuzar” and Acuzar is actually a proper name. I figured maybe […]
In all fairness, there are some other activities that can be done at Olympic Point Resort in Tingloy, Batangas.
Finally. I went with my family to Olympic Point in Tingloy Batangas in April – that was holy week. We were determined to not stay at home for a change and so we practically called every possible resort we know to try and reserve. We failed. It was just too close to holy week. And just […]
Pearl Farm Beach Resort: The Beach
Here we go, the best part of Pearl Farm Beach Resort: the beach(es)! The resort has a couple of – whatchamacallit – shores you can hang out in. This one is but one of them. This is actually man-made, so it’s not that wide, but the sand is very fine.
